(Greece, N.Y.) - Assemblyman Peter Lawrence, Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo, Greece Town Supervisor William Reilich, NYS Police, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Greece Police Department joined AAA Western and Central New York and members of its Board of Directors to cut the ribbon on a brand new, state of the art Travel & Insurance Center at 2589 W. Ridge Rd. in Greece. The facility is located in a brand new building next door to Starbucks.

“Having a high-visibility location is key to meeting the needs of our members,” said Tony Spada, president and CEO of AAA WCNY. “We look forward to launching this office concept in Greece. The new, more modern look could be used in other areas in the future as well.”

The new office features an open floor plan with less paper storage and more electronic features, like a video system for members to explore travel opportunities, and wireless connectivity for AAA associates to assist visitors at various work stations. It will also feature expanded hours once fall arrives with Sunday and evening hours as a convenience to Rochester area residents in need of travel and insurance services.

Greece Town Supervisor William Reilich presented Spada with a plaque commemorating the new space. “We are pleased to see the new office space in Greece opening at 2589 West Ridge Road,” Reilich said. “We wish Tony Spada and his team great success in their new location!”

County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo declared August 21, 2019 “AAA Day” in Monroe County! “On behalf of Monroe County, thank you to Tony Spada and the entire team at AAA for choosing to continue their expansion in our community,” said Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo. “AAA is a wonderful organization that provides our community with new job opportunities, important safety education and travel assistance, helping to make Monroe County a safer and better place for all. We are forever grateful for the work they do.”

The new facility is located in the 134th Assembly District and Assemblyman Peter Lawrence presented a citation on behalf of his district. “It is an honor for me to welcome AAA to this great location right here in the heart of Greece along the West Ridge Road corridor,” Lawrence said. “It is the perfect location for this state-of-the-art Travel & Insurance Center and I am certain that this place will become a hub for travelers and members who are looking to plan their vacations and destinations.”

Area law enforcement, including NYS Police, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and Town of Greece Police Department, showed their support at the ribbon cutting on Wednesday.

“With today’s ever-changing retail landscape, it’s important to be located in high traffic areas and to have hours that work for today’s consumers,” Spada added. “We are confident that this new concept will be user-friendly and offer more convenience for our members. We are already seeing that with increased foot traffic at the new location.”
