Insurance offered through AAA ranked high among the 20 top auto insurance companies in a national customer survey published by Insure.com.

Insure.com surveyed 3,700 policyholders, gathering feedback on how the biggest insurance companies in the country are perceived by their customers. While AAA's The Auto Club Group insurer ranked #1 overall, CSAA Insurance Group—which is available through AAA Western and Central New York (WCNY)—and Auto Club of Southern California were ranked at #2 and #4 respectively.*

According to Insure.com, policyholders responded to the following criteria in the survey:

• Value for price
• Customer service
• Claims satisfaction
• Usefulness and ease-of-use of its website and mobile apps
• If plan to renew
• If would recommend

David Hodge, vice president of insurance at AAA WCNY, said AAA is pleased with the survey results.

Insure.com shared policyholder feedback from the survey on CSAA, including comments that agents are helpful and able to find deals and discounts for policyholders.

“I am very happy with my insurance carrier. They have always promptly and efficiently handled any claim I have needed to make. Claims have not changed my rates. Everyone is always super helpful and caring,” one survey respondent said of CSAA in the Insure.com report.

Insure.com also ranked insurers based on age, with CSAA coming in #1 as the best car insurance companies for Millennials, #2 in best car insurance companies for Gen X and #3 for best car insurance company for Baby Boomers.
